What you will do

In this vital role you will play a pivotal role in accelerating and guiding the adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across the organization of biotechnology product and platform teams. This senior level practitioner will have knowledge and expertise in SAFe adoption within large enterprises and have accountability for developing Agile enablers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling effective Agile governance and measurement.

This Product Owner will lead the SAFe Enablement product team, capturing and prioritizing the Agile needs from biotechnology product teams, leaders and key collaborators, and providing Agile enablers to accelerate and sustain SAFe proficiency across the enterprise. This leader act as a change agent, promoting the benefits of SAFe and driving organizational maturity and excellence in partnership with Communities of Practice..

  • Support and champion the implementation and adoption of SAFe across the organization in alignment with a strategic Roadmap.
  • Assess the current state of Agile maturity and identify areas for improvement.
  • Product Owner of SAFe enablement team including building and managing relationships across Product and Platform teams, capturing and prioritizing Agile enablement needs from the organization, providing Agile enablers which accelerate and help sustain Agile execution and proficiency across the organization.
  • Ensure SAFe training and certifications are sustained for teams, leaders, and key collaborators.
  • Coach and mentor Agile teams and leaders on SAFe principles, practices, and processes.
  • Support the planning, formation and implementation of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Program Increments (PIs).
  • Establish and scale Agile metrics, measurement, and reporting.
  • Help establish and maintain effective Agile governance and decision-making processes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the organization.
  • Act as a change agent, promoting the benefits of SAFe and driving organizational transformation and partnering closely with CoP leads

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree and 3 years of deep technical knowledge and expertise in SAFe with Product Owner experience for technology or technology enablement team experience OR
  • Master’s degree and 10 to 14 years of 3 years of deep technical knowledge and expertise in SAFe with Product Owner experience for technology or technology enablement team experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 14 to 16 years of 3 years of deep technical knowledge and expertise in SAFe with Product Owner experience for technology or technology enablement team experience OR
  • Diploma and 18 to 20 years of 3 years of deep technical knowledge and expertise in SAFe with Product Owner experience for technology or technology enablement team experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Atlassian tools experience
  • Workshop facilitation experience

Professional Certifications:

  • SAFe for Teams or equivalent

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to prioritise successfully.
  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
