What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be part of the AI Platform and be responsible for maximining Amgen’s utilization of AI products, functions and features developed by the AI platform team. This role involves monitoring, measuring and effectively communicating the adoption of AI to all levels of the organization so that we get the most value for our investments. The Product Analyst will also work with Platform Owners to lead and craft the customer experience for AI products by looking at customer behaviors across the customer journey. You will represent the Voice of the Customer when collaborating internally with Product Management and Product Engineering to improve the experience and deliver better outcomes of our data products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Systematic engagement with key stakeholders (e.g. DTI Product Teams) to inspire and encourage the use and further development of AI capabilities.

  • Developing a deep understanding of the product and the customer experience and charting out customer journey maps and Personas with an eye for user experience

  • Manage organizational expectations when it comes to AI capabilities understanding the technology “hype cycle” creating strong feedback loops. Talking to customers at pivotal points of the customer journey and distilling insights on what customers value most

  • Promote an energetic fan base for products and locate brand ambassadors to share the product's benefit and value. Build a vibrant community that (1) helps customers, (2) provides a concentrated knowledge base, and (3) create a stream of feedback on our products and customer experiences to the product team

  • Contribute to time-to-value by educating users on how to administer and use the product, assisting customers with questions and help with onboarding and supporting our customers through the customer lifecycle (Last Mile Support + Solutions on Demand)

  • Determine adoption metrics for AI features and actively report on progress by functions and teams.

  • Ensure AI solutions meet best practices for user experience.

  • Conduct issue identification, resolution, and continuous improvement of AI adoption.

  • Provide support on AI strategies, value realization measurement, training and incident responses.

  • Support the development of new business cases and presentations on AI technologies.

  • Participate in audits and proactive research for continuous AI improvements.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of experience in AI environments including machine learning, cloud, and data management OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of experience in AI environments including machine learning, cloud, and data management OR

Diploma and 10 to 12 years of experience in AI environments including machine learning, cloud, and data management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency with AI environments including machine learning, cloud, and data management.

  • Ability to manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, and vendors.

  • Ability to evaluate and synthesize complex information from multiple sources to make informed decisions.

  • Fluency in financial analysis in technical domains and the development of metrics that drive organizational change

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with AWS cloud services.

  • Conceptual understanding of data engineering tools like Spark and Databricks

  • Programming skills in Python, R, or Java.

Professional Certifications:

  • SAFe for Teams Certification or equivalent - preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams

  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.

  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
