- Work with business teams on user story development, data modeling, UAT & releases
- Work in a team of engineers and analysts as well as with suppliers to drive outcomes
- Maintain data quality with regard to integrity, completeness, consistency, uniqueness and validity
- Adopt Agile SCRUM development methodology in building and testing solutions
- Develop code
- Create and enhance data visualisations for end users
- Debug and Problem solve
What we expect of you
Required experience and skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Similar and 5+ Yrs of total experience with 4+ Yrs of relevant development and design experience
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong experience in business analysis and process mapping
- Continuous improvement approach (i.e. LEAN, Kaizen, etc.)
- Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and technologies, work multi-functionally in teams (internal and external)
- Expertise in programming/scripting languages such as: Java, C, C++, Swift/Objective C, Python, Go, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience in relational database fundamentals and Big Data Platforms such as Databricks
- Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of new platforms, languages, tools and technologies
- Good communicator and analytical skills
- Experience in analysing large data sets
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred experience and skills:
- Strong skills in Data Analysis, Data Requirement Analysis and Data Mapping for ETL processes
- Experience in testing Business Intelligence applications
- Strong experience in Data Warehousing and ETL
- ETL tools; Cloud-based like Informatica, PowerCenter/Cloud, Snaplogic, Databricks and/or MuleSoft, SQL
- Redshift/Spectrum cloud-based database, knowledge of ODBC
- S3 or equivalent storage system
- AWS stack (or similar cloud-based platforms)
- Data analysis and reporting experience by using analytics, visualization, and database technologies (PL SQL, Spotfire, Tableau, Python – NumPy, SciPy, Pandas)
