What you will do

Reporting to Value, Access & Policy Lead, the Tender-Access field Associate is accountable for:

  • Developing and leading the implementation of drug access strategy involving government and private healthcare organisation; work collaboratively with these external third-party organizations to align and execute on shared goals across Amgen Singapore’s product portfolio

  • Working cross-functionally to ensure the benefits to patients offered by Amgen products can be optimized

  • Ensuring all access initiatives adhere to highest level of integrity and Amgen Values

Key Responsibilities

External Stakeholders

  • Developing and leading the implementation of drug access strategy involving tender business; work collaboratively with these external third-party organizations to align and execute on shared goals across Amgen Thailand's product portfolio

  • Build long term, substantive relationships with external stakeholders e.g. NHSO, GPO, medical association, and all other stakeholders based on values of trust, respect and transparency so that to enable all aspects of healthcare delivery and access

  • Support access to medicines by working with HCOs and HCPs on value-based partnerships to help determine the value of innovation and address access barriers

Internal Stakeholders

  • Serve as an internal resource and identify opportunities to maximize HCPs - related projects, and coordinate across functions around key areas of concern for access

  • Working cross-functionally to ensure the benefits to patients offered by Amgen products can be optimized

  • Ensuring all access initiatives adhere to highest level of integrity and Amgen Values

What we expect of you

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or science related field are preferable

  • At least 3-year experience in Multinational Pharmaceutical company (government affair/ market access or Advocacy field is preferred)

  • Strong oral and written communications skills in English & official Thai   

  • Able to work optimally with key stakeholders to build trust and support by identifying mutual interests and agenda

  • Good understanding of Thailand pharma/biotech business model, regulatory process & compliance guidelines

  • Computer skills (MS Office programs)

  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
