As the Dissemination Sr Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing a cohesive and singular plan that directly supports asset strategy and brand imperatives related to cardiovascular (CV) patient care. As part of a cross-functional team, you will support a holistic cross-functional assessment of the product's potential and strategic direction through robust evidence generation activities. Working closely with leaders to establish enterprise-wide alignment on the product strategy, you will then assist to co-create the integrated evidence plan with functions based on shared objectives for core evidence. Your role will involve focusing on identifying additional evidence required for respective stakeholders and using insights to continuously update the core evidence plan, ensuring a comprehensive and strategic approach to evidence integration.

At Amgen Medical, implementation of evidence is a key focus to closing the gap in what is known in evidence-based literature and what is done in clinical practice. By identifying and addressing barriers to uptake of evidence and guideline recommendations into care, we hope to help speed the progress toward improving population health.

  • Develop promotional, educational and content materials for implementation science
  • Lead implementation science content development and review through the MAC process, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet Consortium standards and Amgen SOPs
  • Integration planning of implementation science messaging with cross functional field teams
  • Develop cross-functional field training plan and deploy training to teams on use of various resources to support scaling efforts nationally (in collaboration with internal Knowledge and Learning and SciComm teams)
  • This is a remote role with 20-25% travel to support face to face field training and on-site tactical planning workshops

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree OR
  • Master’s degree and 2 years of industry experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of industry experience

And

  • 4 years of medical affairs or clinical development experience and education in relevant therapeutic area, including 1+ years from a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to adapt in agile ways of working with strong strategic planning and project management skills to clear a course of action to deliver results
  • Ability to integrate cross functional internal teams with excellent influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills to connect the dots to amplify the power of Amgen to get results
  • Accelerate multiple project initiatives simultaneously with strong analytical, business acumen, and problem-solving skills to meet patient needs
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry including field medical operations best practices and implementation science landscape.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and Smartsheet
  • An understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the regulatory and legal guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products and disease state education materials (MAC)
  • Prior experience of successfully managing consultants and vendors
  • Proficiency in writing and presenting on scientific and clinical data
  • Confidence in working with various levels of staff
  • Experience leading or being a part of a cross-functional project team
  • Experience working with key internal or external partners, establishing, communicating, and leading teams to timelines and project targets
  • Experience critically evaluating process and establishing creative solutions
  • Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Utilization of Project Management tools, methodologies, and practices
  • Strong project management skills, lead and run projects from concept to completion in a matrix and, at times, ambiguous environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and successfully present information
  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence others while fostering a value-based environment of high performance and fairness
  • Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex project issues

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
