ROLE SUMMARY
This dynamic position will report to China Compliance Director and provide compliance advice and support on a variety of healthcare and anti-corruption compliance matters to Amgen China. As a compliance professional, the Manager is expected to monitor the external environment to ensure Amgen China’s compliance program continues to meet the highest standards and follow the Worldwide Compliance & Business Ethics Department’s program. The R&R may include, but is not limited to:
- Designing and implementing Amgen China’s compliance policies in accordance with changing external and internal environment, industry code and Amgen global policies.
- Delivering corresponding training of the programs and policies mentioned above
- Leverage data analytics to develop dynamic evolving risk indicators to identify high-risk activities, driving actions based on those insights
- Business partner to designated functions (e.g. finance, tech, business excellence, etc.) to provide compliance advice and guidance in areas such as automation of localized systems, managing meeting related processes, and other business owned monitoring activities (e.g. 3rd party audit).
- Business partner for payment review team to ensure effectiveness of the back-end review mechanism
- Deploying global compliance programs in China market such as third-party due diligence, C3 system upgrading, etc.
- Delivering compliance initiatives such as periodic industry benchmarking exercises, Policy AI chatbot, China Guidebook Redesign, Employee Risk Dashboard, Compliance Culture Campaign, Compliance ambassador program, etc.
- Coordinate with local global teams to ensure alignment and operationalization of global requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related professional experience
- Experience as compliance professional, working in compliance/legal department of a multi-national pharmaceutical company. 4+ years’ experience in Big four is preferred
- Highest integrity mindset and behaviors
- Fluency in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analytics capability
- Extensive project management experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities and provide high level of responsiveness across multiple stakeholders
