and experience.
TASKS:
Develop and implement new in vitro and ex vivo methods to support the development of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for nonclinical safety assessment.
Application of 3D cell culture models (organoids/organs-on-a-chip technologies) that replicate various human organs (e.g., lung, lymph node, liver, pancreas, blood vessels, skin) and their associated diseases (e.g., cancer, autoimmunity) for drug screening and safety assessment applications.
Characterization of 3D cell culture models using fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, or gene/protein expression.
Qualifying 3D cell culture models for a particular use by quantifying their ability to predict known clinical outcomes.
Conducting relevant cellular/molecule functional in vitro assays on the efficacy and toxicity of potential drug candidates (e.g., antibodies) utilizing plate-based immunoassays, FACS and cell-based imaging with minimal supervision.
Develop hypotheses and design experimental plans to propose creative and novel solutions, execute experiments, and analyze and interpret results.
