What you will do
As Manager Technology of our Veeva Vault Quality System, you will lead a team that supports, maintains and continuously improves the system. You will be the technical lead and people manager for a growing team, that ensures system reliability. The manager will be working closely with business partners in Operations to understand support requirements and ensure that solutions are fit for purpose.
In this vital role, you will:
- Manage a team of 5+ Analysts, providing technical direction, mentoring, and driving team growth.
- Support and maintain the Veeva Vault Quality platform and its hosted applications (e.g., QualityDocs, QMS, Vault Manager).
- Ensure continuous system improvement in DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
- Design and build platform customizations (custom objects, workflows, SDKs) aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality and Operations stakeholders to capture and translate business needs into scalable, secure, and GxP-compliant solutions.
- Conduct impact assessments and guide platform upgrades in alignment with Veeva’s product roadmap.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues, ensuring system reliability and compliance.
- Develop and maintain system architecture and data models that reflect quality and manufacturing business processes.
- Drive integration strategies and execution with consistent standards across systems.

- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree and 4–8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Systems, like Veeva Vault Quality or Trackwise.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations business processes.
- Some experience managing and building a technology team.
- Knowledge of system integration and IT infrastructure in a GxP-regulated environment.
- Agile/SAFe delivery experience with a strong DevOps mindset.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in designing secure, scalable, and validated digital solutions.
