Environmental, Health and Safety - Manager

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will support our drive for world class EHS performance for the India Office. The Manager will report to the India office Facilities Director and will be located in Hyderabad.

• Lead the implementation of the EHS programs and safety culture initiatives for AIN

• Ensure successful start up and expansion for the AIN office through:

  • Compliance with local and country regulatory requirements

  • Alignment with Amgen policies, procedures, and expectations

  • Comprehensive training, communication, and awareness plan

  • Establishing strong ergonomics program and processes

  • Collaborations with key partners and office leadership teams

  • Trend analysis and leadership communication

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of the required EHS programs and safety culture initiatives for our office in Hyderabad, India during the start-up, expansion, and normal operation of the office. The candidate will also support any projects related to the expansion and support of Amgen in the country including Research and Development and Commercial Operations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree / Master's degree / Bachelor's degree and 8 to 13 years of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) experience.

• The ideal candidate will have strong leaderships and project management skills as well as a broad understanding of EHS fields.

• The candidate will lead office safety, safety culture and any other safety programs as required and act as a liaison with the Occupational Health group for injury management and workers compensation processes.
