What you will do
In this vital role you will implement the strategy for the products within our Rare Diseases Business Unit, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. Your role will encompass developing and implementing multichannel activities, driving promotional efforts, and coordinating competitive intelligence. You will partner with international peers, medical affairs, and external vendors to optimize brand performance and identify new business opportunities. This role is based in Barcelona.
Responsibilities:
Drives motivation of sales force towards brand aspiration (cycle and launch meetings)
Participates in Country Brand Plan and drives its implementation
Develops Multichannel activities, and executes promotional activities (detail aids message scripts advertising congresses etc) in line with strategy, international branding and key messages
Constantly ensures cross-functional alignment across the Business Unit members
Analyses market research and develops POA
Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans
Partners with international PMs
Partners with the Medical Affairs Manager to optimize the brand performance (goals of clinical trials KOL development etc.)
Agrees with other PM in Franchise Team on joint projects
Recruits and manages external vendors
Identifies business opportunities and develops business cases

Academic education in pharmaceutical marketing
Around 3 to 5 years of experience in a marketing role in the pharma industry
Experience in Rare Diseases drugs management
Fluency in Spanish and English both oral and written communications
Digital skills (omnichannel, AI,…)
Experience in Multichannel communication
Proven success in launching and growing brands, with a track record of achieving or maintaining leadership positions.
Demonstrated capabilities in core marketing disciplines such as segmentation, positioning, branding, and messaging.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment.
Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical promotion.
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
High emotional intelligence, sound business judgment, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
