Medical Science Liaison - Xi'an

Responsibilities include:

Knowledge Enhancement

• Have a thorough understanding of the therapeutic areas and the products that they will be responsible for
• Collect and analyze the OL insights to support TA medical plan

OL Management

• OL mapping, identification, assessment. Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future OLs
• Communicate complex, cutting edge, scientific information and research concepts to OLs
• Interact with OLs to communicate and advance the scientific platform, as aligned with Amgen’s corporate or TA goals and objectives

-   Respond to unsolicited questions within Amgen Medical information Guidelines.

Field Medical Leadership

• Generate and execute the MSL field POA align with the Medical Strategy
• Provide medical input on field activities and share OL insights
• Field sales force training. Field speaker training.
• Support reimbursement efforts by presenting clarity value message about clinical and scientific information

Clinical Study Support

• Support to identify / evaluate / recommend sites for Amgen Clinical Trials in conjunction with when required by Development Operations
• Follow up the Amgen Clinical Trials’ process by OL communication when required by Development Operations 
• Support and facilitate with OL about the Investigator Supported Studies (ISS) in line with Amgen’s existing policies

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree and above from an accredited medical school
• Prior 1-2 years of Medical Science Liaison experience is preferred
• Clinical experience is preferred
• Working experience in MNC or matrix organization is preferred
• Solid project management experience is preferred
• Good understanding of the drug commercialization process
• In-depth knowledge and established relationship with scientific OLs in the specific TA is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English
• User of Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook, and Access)
