What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will help coordinate and lead the application of different imaging strategies to support our portfolio of innovative drug candidates. You will be expected to work with cross functional teams to design, execute and analyze imaging studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide radiological and clinical imaging expertise in the execution of image collection, analysis and adjudication in support of various imaging endpoints and read criteria across all stages of development. Focus will be on oncology but support of other therapeutic areas will be required.
  • Provide subject matter expertise with regards to oncology response criteria (RECIST, PCWG3, Lugano, RANO-BM etc.).
  • Work closely with precision medicine, clinical development, statistics and clinical operation leads to formulate appropriate imaging biomarker strategies.
  • Lead central review and adjudication strategies with Imaging supplier.
  • Participate and oversee the execution of internal and external activities around the annotation of anatomical regions and/or pathologies visualized on different imaging modalities.
  • Support medical review checks for imaging endpoints.
  • Identify new clinical imaging modality or analysis opportunities that can impact the clinical development programs.
  • Support strategy development for utilization of molecular imaging modalities (PET, MRI etc.) in early clinical studies and utilize results to impact registrational studies.
  • Help Precision Medicine in development and utilization of computer vision models both by defining validation parameters over-reading annotations.

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The dynamic professional we seek is a subject matter expert with these qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and a specialization in Radiology

And

2 years of clinical research experience and/or basic science research

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MD with strong and versatile clinical development experience in both oncology and non-oncology, and accreditation in relevant sub-specialty.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in clinical research working within an imaging vendor or within a pharmaceutical/biotech company supporting imaging in clinical oncology studies.
  • Expert knowledge of imaging modalities including CT, MRI and PET.
  • Experience with reviewing clinical protocols, imaging charters and study manuals, SOPs and other documentation involved with the execution of clinical imaging trials and utilization of response criteria.
  • Excellent communication skills allowing to explain imaging concepts and make them accessible to multidisciplinary teams.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
