Director, Business Performance
What you will do

In this role Reporting to the site VP, the Director, Business Performance is responsible for guiding the site’s multi-year strategy, overseeing critical business processes, and leading a team that drives programs to strengthen performance, resilience, and transformation. You will also manage high-visibility initiatives with site-wide impact and ensure effective alignment across the Senior Leadership Team.
Candidates must possess experience in effective decision-making, influencing skills, and ability to simultaneously manage numerous complex issues and projects. This position requires demonstration of strong management and leadership capabilities along with advanced communication and analytical skills.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and facilitate site strategic planning processes and support the output of the site strategic review through coordination and follow-through of key actions. Create, manage and track site goals.
- Lead and develop a team responsible for site-wide programs including productivity portfolio management, PMO, operational excellence, digital transformation, business continuity and risk management, business resilience, continuous improvement, new hire training and training, and performance management.
- Responsible for business and process data management and analytics as well as advanced scheduling, capacity and headcount modeling.
- Partner with Corporate Affairs and manage site incentive programs.
- Conduct facility fit analysis for new processes.
- Perform Chief of Staff functions for the site, such as coordinate executive visits, presentations, and logistics for high-profile leadership agendas.
- Drive business transformation by advancing digital capabilities and fostering collaboration with adjacent business units to make valuable contributions.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of operations support experience
OR
Master’s degree and 8 years of operations support experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of operations support experience
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years of experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong digital expertise with practical application of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
- Strong technical skills related to process improvement.
- Proven track record of advancement within an established, high performing organization.
- Experience in organizations who are in expansion mode and experience in scaling programs and processes.
- Proven skills in building and maintaining productive relationships with organizational partners such process development, manufacturing, quality and regulatory affairs.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Fluent English proficiency – both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and active listening skills.
- Highly proactive, results-oriented, and able to operate with autonomy.
- Demonstrated curiosity, drive, and commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and leadership.
- Skilled at balancing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
