What you will do

The Marketing Manager will serve as a execution lead supporting marketing activities across Neulasta, Neupogen, MVASI, Kanjinti, and RIABNI.

These portfolio of brands are part of Amgen’s newly formed Lifecycle Value Lab (LVL), a purpose-built U.S. business unit designed to accelerate growth through agile experimentation, modern technologies, and innovative ways of working. LVL serves as an incubator for next-generation go-to-market approaches – testing and scaling strategies that can shape the future of commercialization across Amgen’s broader portfolio.

This role is intentionally broader than a single-brand marketer, offering an exciting opportunity to gain experience across multiple brands and help shape the next phase of the lifecycle for these brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own marketing execution across Neulasta, Neupogen, MVASI, Kanjinti, and RIABNI, including website content, promotional materials, and alignment with patient support and access services.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize marketing resources across the portfolio to align with late lifecycle dynamics, leveraging innovative capabilities (e.g., AI, automation) to drive efficiency, scalability, and sustained commercial impact.
  • Facilitate Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR/MAC) review and approval of all materials, ensuring compliance with promotional standards and consistency across brands
  • Own program budgets and track performance against defined success metrics to ensure efficient investment and measurable impact
  • Partner with account management team (AMT), contracts & pricing, finance and additional cross-functional teams to gain customer insights and support pull-through of contracting strategies
  • Contribute to the development and execution of annual brand plans, ensuring alignment with portfolio priorities and lifecycle strategies
  • Contribute to building LVL capabilities by embedding agile ways of working, fostering a culture of experimentation
  • Translate insights from pilots into scalable best practices, sharing learnings across brands and the broader USBO organization

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field and 2+ years of experience in marketing operations, program/project management, or similar commercial role, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field and 4+ years of experience in marketing operations, program/project management, or similar commercial role the biotech or pharmaceutical industry OR
  • Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience in marketing operations, program/project management, or similar commercial role the biotech or pharmaceutical industry OR
  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience in marketing operations, program/project management, or similar commercial role the biotech or pharmaceutical industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Learning agility and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to quickly absorb new information and apply emerging capabilities (e.g., AI, advanced analytics)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with ambiguity, navigate uncertainty, and drive innovation through a test-and-learn mindset
  • Oncology and biosimilar experience is a plus
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and new technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness, personalization, and operational efficiency
  • Self-starter with strength in project and budget management and ability to meet multiple priorities simultaneously in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down challenges, analyze information, and develop practical solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience managing relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Experience with promotional material approval process and systems (e.g., MAC, Veeva PromoMats)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
