As a Senior Associate in Marketing Investment Optimization (MIO), you will play a critical role in tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of paid media campaigns that support Amgen’s strategic commercial initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the MIO Developer and contribute to the development of brand-agnostic, insight-driven dashboards powered by MIO’s robust data backbone—including media, web, and HCP data visualized through Tableau. Your responsibilities will include synthesizing complex datasets, leveraging AI features in BI platforms to automate insights, and presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders such as brand leads, the Global Commercial Capabilities (GCC) team, and more.
This role demands strong analytical thinking, intermediate technical proficiency, and a service-minded approach to delivering actionable insights that drive marketing effectiveness and investment optimization
Responsibilities will include:
Assist in translating business questions into analytical requirements, supporting data extraction from cloud warehouses and marketing APIs.
Contribute to the design and upkeep of self-service dashboards (Power BI, Looker, Tableau) that monitor brand, media, and web performance.
Support the maintenance of KPI and metric definitions, ensuring consistency across reports through documentation and semantic-layer alignment.
Perform exploratory and root-cause analyses on media and performance datasets to identify reporting issues and data anomalies.
Collaborate with BI Engineers to validate data quality and support enhancements to data models and pipelines.
Utilize AI features in BI platforms (e.g., Copilot, Gemini) to assist in generating insights, detecting anomalies, and automating report creation.
Develop clear and compelling data stories—slides, decks, and automated reports—that inform marketing and business decisions.
Proactively identify gaps in reporting and contribute ideas for improving measurement and dashboard capabilities.
