SENIOR ASSOCIATE MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT

What you will do
Join Amgen’s Master Data Management (MDM) team as a Senior Associate Data Management, and help power enterprise-wide decision-making with accurate, well-governed data. You’ll manage and validate payer and consent records, research and classify entities using MMIT and PrecisionRx, and apply MDM standards to ensure data quality. Partnering with teams across Commercial, Medical, Clinical, Operations, and Corporate, you’ll deliver the trusted master data that drives strategy and connects Amgen’s business.
Other responsibilities will include:
Execution of master data integrations that enable cross-functional data connectivity
Monitor and manage inquiries related to Payer Master Data
Ownership and support of Consent and Preferences platform for healthcare professionals
Research and validation of Payer records using MMIT data and PrecisionRX
Classify and enrich new records based on insights from different data sources
Ensure Payer data is accurate and appropriately classified to support consent workflows
Effectively work with systems/tools to ensure integrity of master data connections & data quality
Develop business requirements and data mappings that enable cross-functional data across the broader CD&A organization
Communicate data/system related issues/updates to relevant partners
Responsible for System and User Acceptance testing of related system and integration implementations
Adhere to Compliance, Legal and Data Privacy guidelines and best practices
Supporting ACCP continuous improvement activities.

What we expect of you
Our ideal candidate is a team player with customer focus. He/she is problem solving and result oriented and has time and process management skills and can compile data.
Proven experience and skills needed:
Minimum 3 years of experience in data management, data governance, contracting, or related business field.
University Degree in business administration, commerce, finance, economics, healthcare or related field.
Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication.
Excel knowledge and experience in SQL
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and working with master data and transactional information (commercial, medical, clinical, etc.)
MDM experience or willingness to learn
Understanding of data management and ETL processes
Experience with IS data applications, data querying, and data quality tools
Adept at creating and overseeing project management plans, along with managing priorities and driving completion of assigned tasks
Highly skilled in working collaboratively in a team-based environment and gaining alignment across an organization.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data models to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
