Role Description : Roles & Responsibilities.

In this vital role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), solution across all the Amgen manufacturing sites. This role focuses on leveraging SAP S/4HANA technologies to streamline and enhance Planning & Scheduling processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices. As an Sr Associate SAP Architect , you will work closely with operations IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and configure solutions, and provide post-implementation support. This position requires deep expertise in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA MRP and PP/DS with a solid understanding of SAP PP-PI, QM, SD and MM modules.
- Solution design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning, MRP and PP/DS solutions across all Amgen manufacturing sites
- Manage SAP S/4 data integrations with external planning systems for supply and demand planning
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Create and maintain critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in ERP implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.
- Utilize Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
Basic Qualifications and Experience.
- Master’s degree with 1 – 3 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP APO and PP-DS modules
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 - 5 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP APO and PP-DS modules
- Diploma with 7 – 9 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP APO and PP-DS modules
Functional Skills : Must Have Skills.
- Strong hands-on experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA PP/DS with in-depth Knowledge of Advance Planning and Scheduling in S4 HANA, Demand Planning (DP), Supplier network collaboration (SNC) and Supply Network Planning (SNC) and CIF interface
- Configuration experience in PP/DS alert profile, work area, propagation range, safety profile, Campaign Planning, Setup matrix, Optimization & Tank Planning.
- Experience in defining DS planning board profile, Firming, Pegging, Setup times, Campaign Planning, Product view, Product planning table, Detailed scheduling planning and PP/DS optimizer
- Experience with make-to-stock, make-to-order and planning with final assembly scenarios.
- Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of SAP IBP, Advance ATP and Supplier collaboration with Ariba SCC
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.
Professional Certifications.
- Production planning with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS
- Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)

Shift Information:
This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening shift, as required based on business requirements.
