Amgen India is located in HITEC City, a suburb of Hyderabad, occupying six floors of the RMZ Spire Tower 110. The city of Hyderabad, located in the state of Telangana, well known for its world-class talent across medicine, life sciences and data sciences and the rapidly advancing field of artificial intelligence (AI). The site can accommodate up to 3,000 people and is operational since Q4 2024. ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
In this role you will join Amgen’s Global Commercial Operations & Corporate Functions Technology organization as a Sr Associate IS Business Analyst. You will support US Commercial contract development and pricing processes across Salesforce and Conga CPQ/CLM by gathering requirements, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, supporting Agile delivery ceremonies, assisting with testing/UAT, and maintainingaccurate documentation. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, Engineering, and UX to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
You will be part of a team specifically focusing on Global CRM capabilities. Amgen is using fully integrated and best-in-class technologies, having Salesforce.com as core architecture & relying on business capabilities enablers such as Conga CLM and CPQ.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and implementation of test strategy and automation frameworks for Salesforce & Conga CLM/CPQ
Own test plans and acceptance criteria for user stories; partner with engineers and product to define coverage
Create and maintain test documentation, traceability, and environment/configuration notes
Build lightweight test harnesses/POCs to validate automation approaches and edge cases
Develop and run UI, API, and Apex/unit automated tests; maintain data-driven and end-to-end suites
Reproduce, isolate, and document defects; collaborate on fixes and verify resolutions
Translate business/technical requirements into clear test cases (positive, negative, and boundary scenarios)
Lead the execution of unit, integration, regression, and smoke tests; track coverage and flakiness
Assist in defect triage and prioritization, log actionable bugs with steps, data, and evidence
Manage test data and sandbox environments (seeding, refreshes, SOQL checks) to ensure reliable runs
Use CI/CD pipelines to run automated suites and enforce quality gates; support release readiness and post-deploy smoke tests
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Masters'/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Analytics, Information Systems or a relevant field of study and 8 years of Salesforce/Conga CPQ and CLM implementation.
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Experience working in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) using Jira and Confluence.
Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
Understanding of Salesforce capabilities (Sales/Service Cloud, Lightning).
Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Conga CPQ and/or CLM.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Hands-on experience supporting system integration and data flow across Salesforce and Conga CPQ/CLM platforms.
Demonstrated understanding of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes, including onboarding of new workflows and stakeholders.
Ability to contribute to functional design efforts such as process mapping, configuration documentation, and collaboration with technical teams on implementation planning.
Willingness to support post-implementation activities, including issue troubleshooting, documenting user-facing materials, and helping ensure adoption success.
Professional Certifications:
SAFe for Teams (preferred).
Leading SAFe (preferred).
Conga CPQ and/or CLM (preferred).
Salesforce Administrator (preferred).
