ABOUT THE ROLE
"The Senior Analyst – Data Quality will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data assets across functions. This role will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of data quality frameworks, standards, and controls to support business decision-making and regulatory compliance. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with data owners, stewards, and technology teams to define data quality rules, monitor data health, and proactively identify and remediate data issues. Additionally, this role will contribute to establishing data quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into data performance and risks across the organization.
This role will also be responsible for operationalizing data quality processes, including data profiling, validation, issue management, and root cause analysis. The Senior Analyst will work closely with data engineering, governance, and business teams to embed data quality checks within data pipelines and workflows. The individual will interpret enterprise data governance policies and translate them into actionable controls and processes, ensuring adherence to standards while enabling scalability. Furthermore, the role will support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance data quality practices, tools, and automation, ultimately strengthening the organization’s data integrity and trust."
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth data analysis and proactively identify anomalies, inconsistencies and gaps and provide actionable insights and recommendations for data cleansing and enrichment activities.
Document data quality issues and create comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to define and implement data quality checks within the migration pipeline.
Lead the triage, investigation, and root cause analysis of data defects and validation failures.
Work closely with Business teams, IT teams, and Project Management teams to resolve complex DQ issues.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of data quality standards, best practices, and other artifacts
Look for a scope to automate manual validation processes to improve efficiency.
Functional Skills:
Must Have Skills :
Hands on Experience in various Data quality activities such as Data Profiling, DQ Rule Implementation, DQ Issue management using DQ Tools such as Collibra/Ataccama/Informatica Data Quality
Proficiency in SQL is required with experience in writing complex queries for large-scale datasets.
Experience of working with Sources like Amazon S3,Databricks.
Hands-On experience in Python, CI/CD and Orchestration tools like Airflow.
Good attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work.
Clear and concise communication. Strong written and verbal communication and Presentation skills – ability to convey information crisply and concisely.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience in implementing Advance DQ capabilities such as Data Observability, Augmented Data Quality using any DQ Tool
Familiarity with Databricks
Working knowledge of Power BI
Collibra Data Catalog experience

Ability to build business relationships and understand end-to-end data use and needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills (team player). People management skills either in matrix or direct line function.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science & Engineering, or equivalent experience
5 - 9 years of experience in Data Quality and Data Management
