ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
This Business Analyst role sits within Amgen’s Law & Compliance technology product portfolio and will focus primarily on Comprehensive Compliance Controls (C3) – Amgen’s Salesforce Lightning platform that enables compliant interactions with the global healthcare community. In this role, you will work with a Product Owner, senior BAs, and engineering partners to capture requirements, document processes in Lucid, and translate needs into clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria. Exposure to SAFe and the ability to leverage approved AI tools to accelerate analysis/documentation are pluses.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support requirements elicitation sessions with Compliance/Transparency/Privacy stakeholders; capture outcomes and decisions.
Document current and future state process flows and requirements using Lucid (Lucidchart / Lucidspark).
Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and basic test scenarios; participate in backlog refinement.
Partner with engineering/integration/data teams to clarify data needs, validations, and interface impacts; maintain requirement traceability.
Support QA / UAT planning and execution (scripts, defect triage, re‑testing) and contribute to release readiness materials.
Assist with operational support (issue triage, root cause documentation) and continuous improvement metrics.
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent).
5–9 years of work experience in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience in the Global Pharmaceutical Industry / Life Science / Biotechnology / Pharmacology / Information Systems experience
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years as a Business Analyst / Product Analyst (or strong internship/co‑op experience on enterprise platforms).
Exposure to regulated or compliance domains, understanding of approval workflows and auditability concepts.
Salesforce exposure (Lightning workflows, objects/fields, validation concepts) is a plus.
Experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications and basic reporting/analytics needs.
Familiarity with Mulesoft or modern data platforms is a plus.
Scaled Agile (SAFe) exposure and practical use of approved AI tools for documentation/analysis are pluses.
Technical Skills:
User stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping, and data requirements documentation.
Jira/Confluence (or similar) for backlog and documentation management.
Lucid tools for process mapping and workshop capture.
Conga Composer / CFS awareness (document generation concepts) is a plus.
Basic understanding of integrations, data quality, and error handling.
Excel/Sheets for analysis; SQL/SOQL familiarity is a plus.

Professional Certifications:
SAFe (any) – preferred
Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst – preferred

Collaborate with US/EU/IST time zones as needed; modest flexibility for
