What you will do
Let's do this! Let's change the world. Play a vital role and be part of the web technology team, which provides end-to-end digital solutions and hosting for global websites enabling Amgen brands to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and our patients. The team offers an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will be part of Amgen's Global Commercial Operations Digital Technology Innovation (GCO DTI) organization.
- Facilitate team events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Identify and address obstacles that hinder team progress, proactively working to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Support the Product Owner in managing the backlog and guiding the team
- Serve as a liaison between Web team squads and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication regarding project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Identify and address obstacles that hinder team progress, proactively working to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Continuously learn and improve as a Scrum Master to better support the team's success, including participation in Amgen Communities of Practice.
- Drive and support PI planning and roadmap alignment, ensuring squad priorities are clearly defined and partnering with RTEs while representing Web within the Solution Train to maintain alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a bridge between squads and the Web Strategy & Ops team, supporting backlog refinement, clarifying requirements, and ensuring teams have the context needed to deliver value while staying aligned with overall product strategy.

Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field
AND
- 8 to 13 years of work experience.
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience leading meetings, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring active participation and effective outcomes.
- Deep knowledge and expertise in SAFe. Combine technical knowledge of SAFe with a motivation to improve software, systems, and Agile business processes.
- Experience with PI planning and roadmap alignment across teams.
- Ability to collaborate with RTEs and contribute at the Solution Train level.
- Strong backlog prioritization and refinement skills.
- Jira experience
- SAFe training experience
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Jira Align experience
- Miro experience
- Workshop facilitation experience
Professional Certifications:
- SAFe Scrum Master certification – preferred
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or IAM certifications) are a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.

- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work overlapping hours with US based team (8 to 11 A.M. PST)
- Able to work with offshore teams and act as a liaison as needed
