ABOUT THE ROLE

RoleDescription: 

TheSpecialist SAP Developerwill play a critical roleof an ABAP Developerusing ABAP on HANAin theGTSsystemwith expert level hands-onexperience in FORMS like SAPSCRIPT, SMARFORMS, ADOBE-FORMS, SAP Cloud ADS FORMS.This individual will serve as a technical leader, architectingcompliant solutions and guiding development teams toleverageadvanced FORM Technologies The roledemands strong technical depth inFORMSin both GTSwith the ability to mentor junior developersaboutengineering practices within SAP landscapes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• ABAPTechnicalBuild andSupportfor SAP GTS, GTS–SAP integrations and OTCby developing enhancements, debug issues, and support testing

• Collaborate with architects and functional teamsOTC,logistics, and compliance teamsto translate business requirements into robust, extensible technical solutions

Basic Qualifications and Experience

• Doctorate degree OR

• Master’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and5to7years of IT or related field experience OR

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and7to10years of IT or related field experience OR

• Diploma in computer science or STEM majors and 11 to 14 years of IT or related field experience

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong ABAP / OO ABAP experience

• Hands-on SAP GTS experiencespecifically in FORMS

• Good understanding of OTC processes

• Experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs

• Knowledge on GTS–S/4 integration experience

• Expertisein using SAP ATC and other SAP quality and security tools for code inspection, optimization, and vulnerability detection.

• Requirement gathering, technical analysis, estimation, design, driving SAP S/4HANA implementations,upgradesand migration projects.

Professional Certifications(please mention if the certification is preferred or mandatory for the role):

SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver

SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP for SAP S/4HANA(preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively collaborating with functional teams, gathering business requirements, and documenting technical specifications and solutions in a clear and concise manner.

• High attention to detail in writing, debugging, andmaintainingABAP code, ensuring adherence to best practices, clean core principles, and compliance with SAP development standards.

• Ability to adapt to evolving SAP technologies and project requirements, staying up to date with the latest advancements whilemeeting dynamic business needs in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues in complex SAP systems,identifyroot causes, and provide effective technical solutions that align with business processes.

• Collaborative mindset, working closely with cross-functional teams, SAP consultants, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of custom ABAP solutions that meet organizational goals.
