ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and driven VDI Engineer with subject matter expertise in Windows 365 Cloud PC (W365) to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Cloud PC solutions while working across functional teams in network security, data networking, and identity management. Proficiency in Python and experience working with API Gateway technologies are essential for automation and integration tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the SME for Windows 365 Cloud PC, leading technical strategy, implementation, and support.

• Design, deploy, and manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes.

• Utilize API Gateway solutions to integrate and manage Cloud PC services across platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including:

• Network Security to enforce access policies and protect VDI resources.

• Data Networking to ensure performance and reliability of virtual desktop connectivity.

• Identity Management to integrate Azure AD and ensure security authentication and authorization.

• Provide Tier 3 support and resolve escalated technical issues related to Cloud PC and VDI environments.

• Stay current with Microsoft and industry trends to ensure best practices and continuous improvement of the virtual desktop strategy.

• Supply innovative ideas to address evolving requirements.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation.

• Perform unit and integration testing before production release.

• Continually optimize service functions and integrations.
  

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Doctorate degree / Master's degree / Bachelor's degree and 8 to 13 years in Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience

​Functional Skills:

• Proficiency in Python.

• At least 2 years of experience developing solutions using W365 Cloud PC.

• Familiarity with enterprise data management and reporting.

• Understanding of development using REST API.

• Ability to implement software development standard methodologies.

• Competence with PowerShell Scripting for W365 and Active Directory.

• Understanding of Windows server administration.

• Knowledge of Enterprise related technologies and processes, including Active Directory, networking, and monitoring, preferred.

Professional Certifications:

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Teams (preferred)
