ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description
This role requires hands-on experience in Salesforce platform development and deployment, including Salesforce Communities and Copado DevOps tools. The candidate will be the go-to technical resource responsible for supporting production and non-production environments, ensuring code quality and platform compliance, and driving continuous improvements in the digital technology ecosystem.
Must-Have Skills
- Provide day-to-day support for production and non-production Salesforce environments within the Global Supply Chain – Customer Experience domain under guidance from senior team members.
- Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform (Aura and/or LWC) and understanding of core Salesforce configuration capabilities.
- Experience with MuleSoft, including supporting upgrades, monitoring APIs and integrations, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting connectivity or data flow issues between Salesforce and external systems.
- Support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms (e.g., AWS, MuleSoft, third-party services) by monitoring jobs, performing initial issue triage, and escalating complex defects as needed.
- Assist in developing and maintaining configured solutions, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components within Service Cloud and Commerce Cloud.
- Participate in proof-of-concept activities and support exploration of emerging capabilities, including AI/ML use cases, under supervision.
- Resolve routine support tickets and defects, ensuring timely updates and communication with stakeholders.
- Follow established coding standards and participate in peer reviews to maintain security, performance, and compliance standards, including adherence to VeraCode requirements.
- Work with cybersecurity and compliance teams to address identified vulnerabilities and support required governance processes.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, stand-ups) and provide updates on assigned tasks.
- Follow established best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability of solutions.
- Operate in a regulated environment and comply with all required policies, documentation, and audit standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 1 - 3 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 - 5 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR
- Diploma with 5 - 8 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field
Professional Certifications:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (required).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred).
- Salesforce Administrator or App Builder Certification (preferred).
- SAFe Agile Certification (preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Demonstrates willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot routine issues.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in team ceremonies.
- Ability to work constructively with QA, compliance, validation, and security teams.
- Capable of managing assigned tasks and prioritizing work with guidance from senior team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
