What you will do
As a Specialist SAP Architect at Amgen, you will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP solutions to support business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, of SAP systems. In this vital role you will be a part of the Global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Security team and is responsible for building and supporting SAP security solutions for the Global ERP solutions landscape at Amgen, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and project teams to design, build, test, and deploy security roles and authorizations for SAP
- Partner with TM functional and technical architects to embed security into solution designs.
- Support user provisioning, emergency access, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Support TM deployments, upgrades, and production support.
- Hands-on experience in trouble shooting access issues in S4 HANA, SAP Fiori.
- Work in close coordination with the Security Architect to maintain compliance and implement to Amgen security policies, processes, and procedures across all SAP systems
- Aid in the creation, documentation, implementation, and communication of ERP security strategy and policies
- Investigate new solutions to fulfil present and future SAP security needs
- Regularly conduct SAP Security Audits and provide support for compliance requests
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve security-related queries and solve problems
- Provide support for SAP License Audit
- Collaborate with the GERP compliance team
- Assist in SAP GRC Access Control suite of programs, including user provisioning, segregation of duty management, emergency access, and role management
- Automate SAP security processes using available technologies
- Support SAP security incident management and service requests
- Perform on-call duties and call out issues as needed

Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s / Bachelor's degree with 8 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field
- Proficient in SAP Security, encompassing knowledge of SAP security principles and methodologies
- Understanding of SAP Role design concepts
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements that may impact SAP Security
- Hands-on experience implementing SAP Security authorization, roles and end user access management for SAP S4 HANA TM, Fiori & SAP BTP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a full-cycle implementation in SAP security
- Experience with GRC 12/10.x Access Control
Professional Certifications:
- SAP Security (Preferred)
- SAP GRC Access Control (Preferred)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)
