The Team
- West Europe, Middle East, and Africa WEMEA Team is part of the broader Global Operational Pricing Team (GOP).
- In WEMEA we cover all aspects of Value and Access, from Reimbursement submissions planning, Execution, Pricing Governance, and providing input to Financial Planning processes, for the countries in scope.
- Beyond our country responsibilities, we work on Global projects supporting processes, systems and capabilities.
The Role
- Serves as a key regional expert for pricing strategy, analysis, and operational pricing governance
- Leads activities including price planning, pricing business cases, reference pricing analysis, and annual financial planning
- Ensures pricing infrastructure and tools are maintained and optimized

Accountabilities
- Deliver high-quality pricing analysis and recommendations
- Ensure pricing decisions follow governance standards and are correctly documented
- Maintain pricing tools, structures, and documentation
- Provide accurate and timely pricing assumptions for financial planning
- Support affiliates in price submissions and ensure compliance with government requirements
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in pricing processes.
- Provide strategic support for new launches, reimbursement submissions, and LOE preparation (as applicable)
Responsibilities
- Deliver Pricing Analysis & Support Pricing Infrastructure
- Produce IRP, price erosion, price planning, and launch sequence analyses with clear insights
- Monitor net pricing performance versus established policies
- Maintain and update pricing tools and systems
- Floor Setting, Business Case & Contracts Management
- Support the price floor setting process
- Review and approve all contracts requiring price governance
- Evaluate pricing business cases and partner with affiliates to identify alternative pricing or contracting strategies
- Ensure proper documentation of all pricing-related decisions
- Financial Planning Support
- Provide well-defined, well-challenged pricing and access assumptions for financial planning cycles
- External Price Submissions
- Support affiliates in preparing and submitting Price Certificates
- Maintain accurate price list structures and documentation for government submissions
- Train affiliates on contract setup, implementation, and price list structures.
- Follow up on incorrect reference price calculations; guide affiliates in addressing authority errors
- Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to GOP initiatives and improvement projects based on business needs
- Strategic Advice & Planning for New Launches
- Depending on experience and interest, contribute to new reimbursement submissions, indication expansions, LOE (loss of exclusivity) readiness, broader pricing/access strategic planning

Essential Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Financial Audit, Finance Analysis, Sales, or Marketing
- Minimum 5 years of directly related experience in Pricing, Financial Audit, Finance Analysis, Sales & Marketing Effectiveness, Forecasting, or Consulting
- Strong technical skills in data analysis, forecasting, and advanced Excel usage
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Strong analytical capability—able to simplify complex issues and propose clear recommendations
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and precision
- Strong project management skills with a structured work approach
Preferred Experience:
- Prior pharmaceutical pricing experience
- Understanding of HTA and Health Economics
- Experience working in cross-functional, virtual global teams
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and implement solutions
