ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Description:

The roleis responsible forleading the team tosupport andmaintaintheAmgenVeeva Vault Platform.The role will be involved indefiningAmgen’s Veeva Vault Platformsupportstrategy,guiding technology decisions, and ensuringtimelyservice isprovideto the Amgen VeevaVault platform users and their issues are resolved.

The ideal candidate will have a proventrack recordof leadership in technology-driven environments, managing technology platforms, digital transformation initiatives,andhavea passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry.  Additionally, collaboration with cross-functional and global teamsis required toensure seamless integration and operational excellence. This role demands the ability to drive and deliver against key organizational strategic initiatives, foster a collaborative environment, and deliver high-quality results in a matrixed organizational structure. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop andmaintainthe enterpriseVeeva Vault Platformsupportstrategy, ensuring alignment with businessobjectives.

• Responsible forfosteringplatform reliability.

• Identifyand mitigate architectural risks, ensuring thatthe platformisscalable, secure, and resilient

• Maintainknowledge base of Veeva issues, including principles, standards,user guides,and models

• Drive continuous improvement in the architecture byidentifyingopportunities for innovation and efficiency

• Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that solutions meet both business and technical needs

• Accountablefordesigning andbuildingcustomizations&configurations on the Platform as per the business needsincluding,creating custom objects, fields,workflowsandSDKs

• Responsiblefor strategizing Platform Integrations while adhering toconsistent integration standards and patterns,designingintegrationworkflows, buildingconnectors,centralizingbuild & run andexecutingconsistent DevOps model forintegrations

• Performimpact assessments,clearly defineAS-IS and TO-BE states,andrecommend platform upgradesin accordance withthe new features and functionalities released by Veeva

• Designplatform architecturethat can scale to meet growing business needs and performance demands

• Develop andmaintainlogical, physical, and conceptual data models to support business needs

• Establish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and best practices

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

[GCF Level 5A]

• Doctorate Degree OR

• Master’s degree with 4 - 6 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor relatedfield  OR

• Bachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor relatedfield OR

• Diploma with 10 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor related field 

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 - 10 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor relatedfield  OR

• Diploma with 12 - 14 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor related field 

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understandingofVeevaVaultPlatformand Veeva Vaults

• Experience with system integrationtechnologies likeMulesoft, Databricks, etc.

• Excellent knowledgeof data model and governance

• 6-8yearsGlobal Pharmaceuticalexperience

• Strong understanding ofpharmaceuticaloperationsand data managementbusiness processes

• Experienced inpharmaceuticalregulationsand specifications

• HaveTeam\People managementexperience

• ExperiencedinGxPprocess

• Experience working in agilemethodology, including Product Teams and Product Development models

• Proficiencyin designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions

Shift Information:

This position requires you to work a later shift and may beassigneda second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, asrequiredbased on business requirements.
