Clinical Supply Chain Senior Associate – Logistic Service Provider (LSP) Management
Role Description
Reporting to the Manager, Development Supply Chain, you will provide oversight for clinical Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) supporting the distribution of investigational products to clinical sites. In close collaboration with your globally located peers, you will ensure reliable, compliant, and right-first-time process execution while strengthening operational rigor, process discipline, and performance visibility.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Performance & Quality Oversight
- Manage performance monitoring and quality records for Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) used in clinical trials
- Support audit readiness and audit execution, track findings, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Financial Management Support
- Support financial processes including invoice review and approval.
- Manage purchase orders, quarterly accruals, and assist with distribution of budget tracking and forecasting.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely financial reporting related to LSP activities.
- Proactively review and analyze LSP spend and identify productivity opportunities
Roles & Responsibilities
Under general guidance of (Sr.) Manager/ Manager, manage the following key responsibilities:
- Own quality records related to LSP activities, including metrics, periodic evaluations, performance monitoring reports, and other quality management system documentation.
- Support LSP audits; monitor findings and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely closure.
- Manage and process LSP financial data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
- Oversee shipping lane management to support compliant, efficient, and reliable distribution operations.
- Maintain and execute LSP governance documentation.
- Coordinate with global and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on LSP management and compliance requirements.
- Maintain excellent relationship with LSP on facility and partner level, making sure Amgen’s interests are served Functional Skills

- Experience in clinical supply chain or pharmaceutical operations.
- Demonstrated people leadership in regulated environments.
- Understanding of GxP and clinical regulatory requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Experience with leveraging process automation and AI-supported processes
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication

Basic Qualifications
- Master's Degree & 5+ years of Supply Chain experience
OR bachelor’s degree & 5+ years of Supply Chain experience
- Experience in regulated manufacturing or life sciences industry preferred.
