About the Role

As anAssociate, Data Managementwithin Amgen’sMarketing Data Hub (MDH), you will be part of a global team that enables data-driven decision-making for Amgen’s Commercial organization. You will support the execution of data management activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help maintain the data platforms that power insights into prescriber and patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support Data-Enabling Features within Product Teams

Assist in the execution and deployment of data-related features within Commercial Data Platform Product teams in alignment with Amgen’s governance and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by supporting requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and datavalidationWorkwith marketing and commercial datasets (e.g., marketing campaign data, HCP/Patient activity, IQVIA data, CRM systems) under guidance from senior teammembersHelpmaintain data pipelines, perform data quality checks, and support anomaly identification andresolutionCollaboratewith Technology teams to troubleshoot data issues and document findings for knowledgesharingContributeto connected data products that enable marketing and analytics teams to derive meaningful insights

2. Support Operational and Transition Activities

Assist in operational data management tasks related to the insourcing of work at theAmgen India InnovationCenter.Helpmaintain documentation, trackers, and repositories to ensure smooth handovers and ongoing operationalefficiencySupportthe setup and execution of standard processes to maintain data consistency and traceability

3. Collaborate Across Teams

Work closely with global team members, including peers in the US, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assignedtasksCoordinatewith cross-functional teams within the Data Management and Technology organization to support ongoingprojectsContributeto team meetings, process discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications

Any degreeand1–3 yearsof relevant data management in pharmaindustryFoundationalunderstanding of data processes and data lifecycleGoodcommunication, teamwork, and problem-solvingskillsStrongwritten and spoken English

Functional Skills

Must-Have

Exposure topharma or commercial datasets, such as marketing, HCP/Patient activity, or CRMdataBasicunderstanding ofdata management concepts(data quality, governance, metadata, lineage)Working knowledge of data analysis or scripting tools such asSQL,Python, orRFamiliaritywithcloud platforms(AWS, Databricks) or a strong willingness tolearnAbilityto follow structured processes and maintain documentationaccuratelyEagernessto learn about end-to-end commercial data flows and modern data management practices
