What You Will Do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will interact with healthcare decision makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen’s corporate goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and execution of territory and key account plans aligned with brand and affiliate priorities.
- Develop a proper account mapping & work on developing an integrated account plan of action.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with priority stakeholders across hospitals, clinics, retail accounts, and other healthcare settings.
- Conduct customer interactions using approved content and in full alignment with Amgen compliance standards, documentation expectations, and ethical guidelines.
- Capture and communicate customer, market, and competitor insights to support account planning and business decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and timely activity reporting, account profiles, and follow-up actions in accordance with company processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners, as relevant, to support account objectives and customer scientific needs.
- Monitor progress versus account objectives and recommend practical course corrections based on field realities and available data.
- Apply strong planning and follow-through in pre-call preparation, customer engagement, and post-call execution.
- Support value & access team strategy implementation for assigned inline registered brands.
- Use approved omnichannel tools where applicable to support customer engagement and account objectives.
- Strengthen product, disease-state, compliance, communication, and account-management capabilities through training, coaching, and self-development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of directly related experience
- Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or another relevant discipline.
- Experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare account support, medical devices, hospital accounts, or other customer-facing healthcare/commercial roles.
- Ability to build effective customer relationships with healthcare stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of territory management, account planning, and market insight gathering.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to documentation quality.
- Comfort using CRM systems, Microsoft Office tools, and approved digital engagement platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Learning agility and readiness to grow toward broader value & access responsibilities.
