Medical Science Liaison
What You Will Do
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a source of information between the company and the medical community. They are responsible for providing disease state and product information to health care professionals and researchers. They also collaborate with sales, marketing, and research teams to implement strategies and initiatives.
Field-based role
Key Responsibilities
- Build and Maintain Scientific Relationships: Establish a network with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals to discuss clinical data and therapeutic advancements.
- Scientific Education: Deliver detailed scientific presentations on disease areas, products, and current research to physicians, healthcare professionals, hospitals, and health groups.
- Clinical Support: Provide feedback from field experts regarding products.
- Internal Team Support: Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and access teams to ensure scientific accuracy and assist in developing strategies.
- Evaluate and Gather Clinical and Market Feedback: Identify treatment trends and emerging market needs, providing valuable insights into company strategy.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and previous experience as Medical Science Liaison (exclusive)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic background: Completed degree in a health-related field (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biomedicine, etc.)
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong knowledge of rare diseases is highly valued
- Established network of contacts with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work with performance metrics
- Active listening and excellent scientific communication.
- Agile, collaborative, proactive, and strong team player.
- Ability to build trust and rapport while maintaining scientific rigor.
- Strategic thinking without intent to change corporate strategy.
- Proactivity toward physicians, focused on science.
- Enjoy being in the field, not office-based or event-focused.
