Medical Engagement Partner

LIVE - How do you implement our mission in everyday life?

We are looking for a Medical Engagement Partner to reestablish our medical team in Estonia supporting the whole Amgen product portfolio, primarily focusing on our growing cardiovascular and metabolic disease product portfolio. You will be an important part of our dynamic Medical team, bringing your own expertise and energy. Importantly, you will work closely with the entire cross-functional therapy area team. In your work, you’ll report to the Medical Sr. Manager Baltic Countries.

A Medical Engagement Partner’s job scope is versatile and varied. In this important role, you will be able to influence the quality of care received by Estonian patients by working closely with the most important experts in the therapy areas. In your work, you’ll communicate the latest medical results to our customers using different channels and identify and implement cooperation projects with different stakeholders in the local healthcare ecosystem. You’ll actively collect information on the needs of experts and the challenges of the operating environment and utilize the opportunities of local data sources agilely and innovatively to promote the care of Estonian patients. You also work closely with our clinical research organization to strengthen Amgen's research footprint in Estonia. You will also play a very important role when we bring a new innovative solution in a new therapy area(s) to the market.

WIN - What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a customer-centric and proactive team player with previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the cardiovascular/metabolism area. You are goal-oriented and preferably have launch experience. You are the one who is eager to go an extra mile in serving the needs of patients.

Skills required for the job:

Higher university degree (MD, PhD, MSc, Pharmacist or equivalent)

Applicable work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical medicine

Fluent Estonian and English language skills

Good understanding of the Estonian healthcare system

Demonstrated ability to create a strong network of experts

We also appreciate these skills:

Experience in launching a new compound

Therapy area experience in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases

Experience in RWE and other multi-stakeholder projects

The workplace is located in Tallinn, Estonia. We also have a strong remote working culture.
