We will give you the opportunity to gain experience in a vibrant multinational Bio-Pharmaceutical company in the heart of Copenhagen. Our research is passionate about groundbreaking technology for early drug discovery.

We are looking for a student worker to support our Research Material Management team in several steps of chemical compounds' workflow at Amgen Research Copenhagen, and other logistics tasks. The main responsibilities include:

  • Compound registration, management and maintenance of Amgen’s large sample bank

  • Making stock solutions, samples, buffers, weighing compounds, preparing aliquots, etc.

  • Preparing the shipments (incl. preparing samples, unpacking parcels with chemicals, etc)

  • Other daily laboratory tasks as well as occasional support of reception

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for the Student Worker position at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor in Biology or Chemistry or related field in a Danish university

  • Good knowledge of verbal and written English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passionate about Biology or Chemistry

  • Experience evolving in a laboratory

  • Thorough time-management skills

  • Strong work-ethic
