Prepares the Region’s forecast, budget and long-range planning
Analyses actuals and provides recommendations to BU based on the analysis
Able to recognize trends and its potential future impact
Act as Business Partners for the Commercial SEA Sub region team providing insightful information, advice and challenges based on facts to enable better decision making
Provides consultancy and financial support to various company functions, country/regional finance teams and departments
Support SEA Head of Finance on process improvement and other business development projects
Manages Hyperion upload for forecast & budget
Handles communication and billing verification with distributors across all SEA countries
Facilitates business planning and decision making; provides financial analysis, modelling of “what if” scenarios
Communicates and provides financial insights and and their business implications to the internal business counterparts
Timely production of quarterly forecast of sales and opex
Monitors actual revenue and opex on a monthly basis
Support SEA countries to compile budget, latest estimate and long range plan. Consolidates at the SEA regional level
Prepares month/quarterly regional and functional reporting
Standardizes and streamlines planning and reporting processes
Monitors distributor agreements and be engaged in any business discussion with the distributors
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration
Experience of more than 5 years in similar position/s in an international environment
Experience in accounting, consolidation, reporting, budgeting and planning
Fluency in English, both in written and verbal communication.
Excellent user of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Hyperion
Preferred Requirements
Studies specialised in finance (financial analysis, controlling, accounting, consolidation)
MBA and/or CPA would be an advantage
Experience in various areas of finance and accounting
Experience within an international finance department would be an asset
Industry knowledge
Basic know-how of applicable laws concerning business admin, taxes (esp. VAT), accounting and consolidation
Knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with SAP
Written and spoken Cantonese
