The Engineering Projects Manager is responsible for owning small capital projects and overseeing contingent construction managers and craft labor. This position will direct key project that will make a significant contribution to the site operation and risk profile and is expected to interact with all levels of the organization. Primary responsibilities include leadership of multifaceted, cross functional projects and mentoring less experienced staff at ARI.

Additional Responsibilities:
Manage construction projects in a safe and compliant fashion
Implement projects by working closely with multiple disciplines, including manufacturing, facilities, engineering, and quality assurance
Supervise contingent workers as needed. These workers include construction managers and general craft labor including electrical, architectural and mechanical.
Execute projects in accordance with all corporate requirements (EHS by Design, EPPT)
Present projects at governing bodies for approval
Manage all aspects of their projects including, planning, cost, schedule, risk, communication, resources, monitoring completion and follow up.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree OR
Master’s degree and 3 years of Engineering or Project Management experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Engineering or Project Management experience OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Engineering or Project Management experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Engineering or Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical or Architectural background focusing on clean rooms for cGMP manufacturing
Strong leadership and motivational and project management skills
Knowledge of biotech manufacturing processes and the functions that support them
Demonstrated ability in leading craft of wide skills and expertise (mechanical, electrical, and architectural)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability in providing leadership to cross-functional teams to advance complex projects to completion
Ability to tactfully and effectively negotiate and influence
