Main purpose of Job
* Make pricing strategy for AABP products (and device) and make reasonable assumptions for the price
* Work in collaboration with VA&P Dir to understand, implement and where possible influence policies to create optimal business environment for Amgen products

As Pricing Manager, you will be part of the Value, Access & Policy (VA&P) Team and reporting to the VA&P Dir, you will take a role for pricing negotiation of Amgen product with MHLW

* Initiate the most effective and timely strategy to obtain prices for suitable for the value of the products in Japan by managing timely preparation, submission and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement files
* Propose and implement the agreed local market access strategy with VA&P Dir
* Value evidence generation in scope of dossiers and publications and collect local cost data for the customization of cost effectiveness models
* Learn pricing and VA&P related job with high motivation
* Develop and execute the pricing strategy with support of the local VA&P Director and global pricing team(s)
* Work cross-functionally to understand product/device methodology
* Visibility to work with regional and global teams, supported by the local VA&P Director
* Maximize product portfolio visibility in the market

Basic Qualifications
* Experience working in the pricing related field and/or in clinical statistics and/or on new product launch of Marketing and/or in regulatory affairs. Pharmaceutical/medical devise for at least 5 years
* Experience working industry association
* Understand Japanese healthcare/pharmaceutical policy and role of stakeholders.
* Knowledge of reimbursement schemes
* Partner effectively with Global Health Econ (GHE) and Global Pricing & Payer Planning (GP3) to ensure product plans and forecasts incorporate appropriate access assumptions and evidence strategies

Preferred Qualifications
* Challenge new thing rather than stay in traditional viewpoints
* Knowledge of health economics, health technology assessment and familiar with the global pricing system and healthcare system
* Logical thinking
* Good oral and written communication
* Language: Japanese & Business English fluency
* Ability to work effectively in a team/matrix environment on multiple projects
