Reporting to the Director, Global Therapeutic Knowledge and HCP Interactions Center of Excellence, the Senior Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and implementing high quality training curricula and programs for the Global Medical Affairs staff (Regional Medical Liaisons, Global Scientific Communications, Global Medical Writing and Medical Directors) The position will focus on training in the Inflammation and Bone Therapeutic Areas.

Liaising with the RML, Sci Comm and Medical stakeholders globally for develop therapeutic training and curriculum activities, creating therapeutic training learning materials, and conducting new hire training.
Work closely with internal (e.g., Global Development, Global Scientific Affairs) and external groups (e.g., suppliers, opinion leaders) to develop and execute these training programs.
Some travel approximately 20%.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of clinical experience
Master’s degree and 6 years of clinical experience
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of clinical experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of clinical experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

A professional degree of Pharm.D., PhD, or MD with 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical and or clinical experience

Understanding of training methodology and design

Excellent technical writing, oral, presentation, and project management skills and the ability to search, critically analyze, and summarize scientific literature

Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the legal and regulatory guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products

Ability to interface cross-functionally in a dynamic, matrixed environment
